Message 2007
Yolanda O. Stern
President

The Federation is 10 years old and will be celebrating its 11th year this year. Much has happened and chapters have come and gone but there are those that have survived over the years and gone on to become stronger and brighter stars.

The officers who have served us well have proven their mettle. Much has been accomplished and the foundation is as solid today as it can ever be, and we have preserved and guarded our reputation well. We have learned that during the implementation stage of our organization the last five years, the solid foundations we laid were to be very useful in the accomplishment of our goals.

Time waits for no one, and my desire to step down is only limited by the continual postponement of our elections due to various factors beyond our control. I hope that this year we will be successful in holding that election and that more people will step up to the plate. I would like to devote my future and resources to One World Institute, our private foundation for health and education that helps the very needy in the Philippines.

I must give accolades to the officers who went beyond our expectations:

To date, FPACC, with One World Institute, has delivered more than $50 million in goods and services to city and provincial hospitals in the Philippines. We also continue to deliver aid to the Mother Theresa Center in Tondo and to the Don Bosco Street Children Center via the Tuloy Foundation of the Philippines.

We thank Efren Abratique for his donations; Joel and Alice Villanueva and their family and their horde of volunteers from the streets of Las Pinas and for facilitating the donations to Mindoro’s Mangyans; the women of Zonta with Celia Molano who helped us distribute antibiotics to Muntinlupa Hospital and other clinics and provinces; the doctors and director of Muntinlupa; Gov. Enverga of Nueva Ecija and Mr. Joe Molano for the hard work in facilitating donations to the flood victims of two typhoons in that province; the Philippine Navy and Capt. Danilo Cortez for ferrying our medicines to far flung areas like Jolo, Basilan, Zamboanga, General Santos; Mayor Rodrigo Duterte for his stalwart facilitation of donations to Davao; to the Philippine Veteran friends. And to all the helpers too many to mention here, we thank you so sincerely and wish you well this year and appreciate your continuing support.

For the much awaited business and income opportunities that we offer this year, long live the Federation and may all the chapters take wings in the right and prosperous direction and with the right company!

Be sure to give us your most recent addresses and contact numbers. We continue to update our website and we need your new data under Directory. Please remember that to benefit from business opportunities you must be readily accessible. To all new presidents, congratulations and Welcome!
